Harris Village – Santa Rosa: 4 home subdivision directly across from Comstock Middle School. This project kicked off with the renovation of an existing house on the lot which was completed in the Summer of 2017. Construction has commenced on the three new construction houses, with completion expected this fall.
Green Valley Village – Graton: Habitat is providing two of ten homes in partnership with Thiessen Homes as their inclusionary requirement. Site work on this project has commenced, and building permit applications are in process.
Duncan Village–Windsor: Habitat is in planning with the Town of Windsor to build 16 affordable homes. This project is in the pre-development phase.
Niko Flores, one of our Habitat Partner Family Members is currently working on completing his family’s 500 sweat equity hours. He is bringing his floor laying talents to help build Habitat Homes. Our Americorps Volunteers spent June 4th-10th building Habitat homes in Colorado as a part of flood recovery efforts east of Boulder. The Colorado Build-a-Thon spread 150 Habitat Americorps members from the Western US among five towns that experienced catastrophic flooding in 2013.
